Fairfax parents, taxpayers, and businesses. We want to hear from you!

  • Teachers have left or quit in Fairfax County Public Schools by the hundreds. Why?

  • Crime has increased, including violent crime that is among the highest in the country, according to a new report in 2023.

  • Do we need additional disciplinary action in our schools that only focuses on a particular community - LGBT+ What about other activities taking place in our schools? Do you see issues? Examples could include discrimination, drug use, dress code, and bullying. EXAMPLE: Opioid overdose (or use of Fentanyl) has become such an issue that the Fairfax County government has created a dashboard to track cases on a daily basis: Opioid Overdose Dashboard Updated to Highlight Emerging Threats | Health (fairfaxcounty.gov)

  • Elected officials have proposed careless projects like a casino without “due diligence” or adequate business development options. Instead, they want to take PAC money and run. With the appropriate planning such as an impact assessment conducted by the Schar School at George Mason, projects like a casino can lead to a decrease in local taxes, job growth, and supplemental funding, such as offset to continued referendum votes for millions on capital school construction. • The Superintendent and School Board continue to push political agendas to the top, such as Transgender expansion…this has led to lowered standards and decreased performance in math, reading, and science. Do you agree?

  • As a teacher, have you felt pressured or coerced to comply with standards that you find to be either unethical and/or illegal? As an example, Virgina Code § 1-240.1 mandates that a parent has a fundamental right to make decisions concerning the upbringing, education, and care of the parent's child. Along with any pressure, to include collective bargaining member efforts, do you feel your job might be in jeopardy if you were to speak against any policy or other public concern to include retaliation from the school administration?
